Princess Ahira Graphics!

See! I am doing something productive!

Anywhere I made 2 Princess Ahira icons and a button. I'll be using them here, but please feel free to use them as well. (although if someone asks where you got them from please credit me pretty please!!)

I gotta say I think the prince one is my favorite. <3

Additionally here is the "cover" for my Authonomy and Textnovel book: My life at the Magical Beings' Rehabilitation Center.

I hope you guys can figure out what the figures are. It's supposed to be: wolf, girl, horse head.

As you can probably guess from the full moon and the wolf on the cover, it's an urban fantasy novel. I basically make fun of popular fantasy culture, like the idea that all vampires must hot, all werewolves must be sweet tempered and amazingly muscled, all elves look like Legolas, and so on and so forth.

To read it click here!

I decided I'll kick off releasing Ahira chapters with an Ahira podcast. It'll just be me reading the book with some background music and noises. Maybe one day in the future, if I ever get enough fans, I'll be able to bully some people into reading the parts with me, but until then you'll be stuck with my boring voice. :( Sorry!

Anyway that first podcast should be out sometime next week or the week after.

My young adult novel: Robyn Hood: A Girl's Tale, is one of 1,000 novels selected to go onto round two of the 2010 Amazon Breakthrough Novel contest!! My novel was originally one of 5,000! YAAAAAAAAAY!

Amazon Breakthrough Novel Contest

Yes, yes I know. this STILL isn't Princess Ahira. Have patience please,  I'm trying to figure out how to post that story on here.

But anyway, today is the day the Amazon Breakthrough Novel contest announces which 2,000 (out of 10,000 I believe) stories were selected to continue through.

I entered one of my stories, Robyn Hood, so I am anxiously awaiting their announcement!

Additionally my story (yes, I know I have a lot of stories.) My Life at the Magical Beings' Rehabilitation Center has been posted not only to Textnovel but also to Autonomy! Woohoo!

And I PROMISE I'll be posting Ahira as soon as I figure out a proper format.

Not Ahira, but still!

Good morn everyone!

This isn't really Princess Ahira news, but I'm so proud I don't care! ;)

I recently entered a contest at the Literary Lab called Genre Wars. I entered a piece called The Little Wolf and the Big Bad Pigs. The story is a satirical children's story that takes a different look at the Three Little Pigs.

The Little Wolf and the Big Bad Pigs was selected to be included in the Genre Wars anthology! The anthology can be purchased from Lulu.com for $13. It's 215 pages and includes other selected stories from the Genre Wars contest. All of the proceeds will go to WriteGirl, a group designed to empower girls through self expression.

For a blurb of my short story that is in the anthology please click more!

Note: If lulu says the anthology costs more than $13 check and make sure you only have ONE copy in your basket. When I initially clicked on the link I had a heart attack because it had somehow automatically given me 3 copies.
